A 6mm specialised fibre cement rigid air barrier that can be used beneath cladding, providing added protection against the elements. This panel is sealed with James Hardie’s innovative CoreShield™ penetrating sealer technology, keeping water, air and wind out, while allowing moisture vapour to easily escape. Classified as a Class 4 Vapour Permeable Membrane, RAB™ Board is suitable for use in Australian Climate Zones 2 to 8 in accordance with the National Construction Code (NCC) 2022. Easy to install and can be exposed for up to 180 days before installing the cladding. Deemed Non-Combustible Suitable for non-combustible construction Durable Engineered to endure. Hardie™ fibre cement is resistant to fire, termites, rot and damage from moisture. Speed of Installation Lightweight, easy to cut, and screw or nail to the frame. Joints are simply taped.
